Our TCPA is white crystalline powder, with molecular formula C₈Cl₄O₃ and molecular weight 285.89 g/mol. We keep its melting point at 254-256°C, purity no less than 99.5%, and moisture below 0.1%. TCPA for flame retardant works by releasing chlorine atoms during combustion to stop flame spread when used for flame retardants. It's mainly used to make flame retardants for plastics, resins and coatings, providing permanent flame retardant effects without migration.
