Handling Precautions
Protective Equipment: Wear chemical protective goggles, a full-face respirator, chemical-resistant gloves, and protective clothing against toxic substances during operation.
Ventilation Requirements: Operate in a fume hood or well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling gases or dust.
Operating Procedures: Operate in a closed system to prevent dust generation; keep away from sources of ignition and heat; smoking is strictly prohibited; handle with care to prevent container damage.
Storage Precautions
Storage Environment: Store in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse, away from sources of ignition and heat; packaging must be sealed.
Separate Storage: Store separately from oxidizers and food chemicals; do not mix with other chemicals.
Emergency Preparedness: The storage area should be equipped with suitable materials to contain spills and appropriate types and quantities of fire-fighting equipment.
Emergency Measures
Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing and thoroughly wash skin with soap and water.
Eye Contact: Lift eyelids and flush with running water or saline solution; seek medical attention. Inhalation: Immediately move to fresh air and keep the airway open. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. If breathing stops, immediately perform artificial respiration and seek medical attention.
Ingestion: Drink plenty of warm water, induce vomiting, and seek medical attention.
Firefighting measures: Use water spray, foam, carbon dioxide, or sand to extinguish the fire.
Leakage emergency handling: Isolate the contaminated area, restrict access, and cut off ignition sources. Emergency responders should wear dust masks (full face masks) and protective clothing, and avoid direct contact with the leaked material.
