Equipment Selection
Reaction Vessel: Must be made of glass-lined or Hastelloy alloy, resistant to chlorine corrosion. Volume should be selected based on production capacity (e.g., a 500L vessel can produce 50-100 tons annually).
Temperature Control System: Must be equipped with a heat transfer oil circulating heating device, with a temperature accuracy of ±2℃.
Tail Gas Treatment: Chlorine tail gas must be treated through an alkaline absorption tower (NaOH solution concentration 15-20%) before being discharged.
Safety Precautions
Explosion-proof Measures: The reaction vessel must be equipped with an explosion-proof motor. Workshop ventilation volume ≥12 times/hour.
Personal Protective Equipment: Operators must wear respirators (chlorine-specific filter canisters), chemical-resistant gloves, and goggles.
Emergency Response: The workshop must be equipped with a chlorine leak alarm; the spray system will automatically activate when the concentration exceeds the standard.
